It’s the typical story of trying to lose weight and get fit every summer. It’s not even that I’m overweight by any significant amount. What it comes down to is that I’m not happy and confident in my appearance and that is something that seems to haunt me more and more. The issue is I’m only motivated to a certain extent and getting to the gym seems painful at times. There was a time that I went to the gym twice a day, felt great and was happy. I need to get back to that, and fast. I’m hoping recording my thoughts and struggles along the way will keep me accountable and motivated. At least, it’s worth a shot!
The end goal would be to lose 20 pounds. There’s not a real time limit, but I’d like to see about a 10 pound loss by the end of the summer
